The insulation layer between a water heater's inner and outer tank determines how long stored water stays hot — and therefore the energy label your product earns. Poor foaming means higher standby losses, failed certifications and warranty claims. How High-Pressure PU Foaming Works

  1. Polyol and isocyanate components are metered at precise ratios and high pressure (100–200 bar)
  2. The mix head injects the liquid into the tank cavity through fixed or moving fixtures (jigs)
  3. The foam expands, filling the annular gap, then cures in temperature-controlled jigs for dimensional stability
  4. After curing, tanks rest before further assembly so post-expansion does not deform end caps
